Protecting Australian Businesses Since 2019
We started calivorite because too many good businesses were losing money to increasingly sophisticated fraud schemes. Our mission remains simple: keep your hard-earned profits where they belong.
Why We Exist
Back in 2019, I watched a family-owned Melbourne café lose ,000 to a payment processing scam. The owners had built that business over fifteen years, and in one afternoon, their summer profits vanished.
That's when we realized something had to change. Fraudsters were getting smarter, but small and medium businesses weren't getting the protection they needed. Banks would shrug. Software companies would sell expensive solutions that didn't work.
We decided to bridge that gap. Today, we help over 300 Australian businesses recognize threats before they become losses.

What Guides Our Work
Real-World Focus
We test everything against actual fraud attempts. If it doesn't work in practice, we don't recommend it.
Plain English
Fraud prevention shouldn't require a cybersecurity degree. We explain things clearly so you can act quickly.
Australian Context
Scammers target local businesses differently here. Our strategies account for Australian banking systems and business practices.

Helena Thornbridge
Helena spent eight years investigating financial crimes for the Australian Federal Police before founding calivorite. She's seen every type of business fraud scheme imaginable — and more importantly, knows which prevention methods actually work.
"Most fraud prevention feels like security theater," Helena says. "We focus on the 20% of actions that prevent 80% of losses. Business owners don't have time for complicated systems that don't deliver results."
Helena holds certifications in forensic accounting and fraud examination. When she's not helping businesses stay secure, you'll find her sailing around Sydney Harbour or coaching junior cricket in Mosman.
